Trip to London with Jamie

On the 15th of January I woke up early and caught the coach from Bath to Heathrow airport to pick up Jamie. We both had to carry around our bags, so after lunch we bought a 48 hour pass for The Big Bus. This was a good way for us to sight see London and gain an insight into some of the history.

From the bus we saw, The London Eye, Tower Bridge, Horse guards, Piccadilly circus, Trafalgar Square and the Tower of London.

In the afternoon we headed to a pub called The Shakespeare, where we had a few drinks and snacks before heading to my mums cousins for the night.

Day two -  it wasn't raining (for a change) so we walked into London for some more sightseeing.

St Paul’s Cathedral
After a morning of exploring we ended up at my inner child's dream destination,  M & M world.  (which is really just a whole lot of overpriced m&m merchandise )

We had lunch then went for a walk through China Town.  Unfortunately the weather didn't stay nice so we hopped back on the bus and headed toward Julian's.  We got off around Tower of London and walked over the Tower Bridge.

Day 3 - Today we packed everything up and headed to our hotel for the next two nights. We stayed at The Montcalm, that was an old brewery.

At night we headed the Royal Albert Hall where we watched the Circus Du Soleil and had  dinner in a restaurant near by.

Day four - we went to Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, and walked along Oxford Street and through Hyde park. At night we went out for a pub dinner then for drinks with Jamie's cousin, Camilla.

The following day we headed to Bath England for a few nights. For our first full day in Bath we went to the Roman Baths, that is a old Roman bathing complex that still flows with natural hot water. We then had a cosy English Pub lunch at Baths smallest Pub, Coeur De Lion.

For our final day we relaxed at the Thermae Bath Spa.

New years in Denmark

On the 28th of December 2013, we started our journey from Austria to Denmark. To get to Denmark we had to drive through Germany in Sophie's families campervan. We ended up picking up a few young girls who were hitchhiking from Belgium to Berlin. From Germany we went by a ferry to Denmark.

Monday the 30th Sophie and I went on a sightseeing trip to Copenhagen. Luckily she only lives 40 minutes from the city. We started off walking down one of the longest shopping streets in the World, "Strøget". And afterwards we went to a famous part of Copenhagen called "Nyhavn".

New Years Eve - For news years eve, we went to Sophie's family friends and had a nice Three Course dinner. Afterwards Sophie and I rode our bikes to one of her classmates party. We had lots of fun!

Yesterday (Wednesday) Sophie and I decided to visit Helsingør and Sweden. In Helsingør we stopped by a castle called "Kronborg" where we had a look around. Shakespare's play Hamlet was set in this castle. Afterwards we took the ferry to Sweden, and it only took 20 minutes! We had lunch there and just looked around Helsingborg.
